Adapting Your Business

The County of Imperial has created a Worksite-Specific Protection Plan template to assist businesses develop and implement a worksite plan. Per the State of California, all businesses are required to complete a worksite plan to open during the COVID-19 pandemic.

To ensure your business operates safely, Imperial Valley Small Business Development Center has launched the Adapting Your Business through COVID-19 program. This program offers one-on-one counseling to small businesses and entrepreneurs at no cost

Program Services include:
  • One-on-one counseling with an SBDC Advisor to address your business needs
  • Follow up visit at your place of business to review and assist implementation of worksite plan
  • Live sessions and Q&A with Imperial County Public Health Department and IV SBDC
  • Access to daily and on-demand webinars and trainings, including:
    • How to Complete Your Worksite-Specific Protection Plan
    • HR Policies You Need To Reopen
    • Marketing Strategies
    • Industry-specific guides to safe reopening 
    • & more
